Kiltimagh take on Islandeady in the Division 2B playoff to decide who goes up to Division 1 next season. This game will be played in Castlebar at 1pm on Sunday the 28th October next. Oct 14, 2007, 3:28 pm Kiltimagh had a hard fought win over Kilmaine on Sunday 14th October 2007. That win means that Kiltimagh and Islandeady finish level on points. As Moygownagh did not fulfil its fixtures it is unlikely that scoring difference will play any part in deciding the placings so it is likely the 2 teams will meet in a play-off to decide who goes up to Division 1. There was only one score between these two teams when the final whistle sounded after 80 minutes of close exiting football at Foxford on Saturday last. Unfortunately, Kiltimagh were on the wrong side of that Oct 1, 2007, 2:44 pm The Club were delighted and proud to see the massive support from the town at the game. It was a great lift to the players to see the stand dominated by the blue and white. We want to thank everyone for the great effort they put into supporting the team and also thank all those who very generously supported the club in its fundraising for the the final. It wasn't to be on the day but, hopefully, this squad will lay the foundations for more success in the next few years. |
