For the senior team, first up is the round of 16 in the Championship. They hope to defeat Ballycastle in this round and advance to the quarter-finals of the Junior Championship. The following Saturday night, they make the trip to Louisburgh for the penultimate round of the league and then host Parke in the final round of league games the following weekend. In the U21 championship, Kiltimagh take on Ardnaree at Kiltimagh on Tuesday 1st September and then the following Friday night the Minors contest the East Mayo Final against Swinford. Two wins from the last two games are likely to secure promotion for Kiltimagh senior team in the league so its a very important couple of weeks for the team. Aug 18, 2009, 8:09 pm Kiltimagh 10-15 Ardmoy 4-1: In a somewhat bizarre beginning to this game, Kiltimagh found themselves 3-1 to nothing down afer 5 minutes. However, Ardmoy were only to get one more score for the remainder of the game whereas Kiltimagh racked up 10-15. Aug 18, 2009, 8:06 pm Kiltimagh are up against Ballycastle in the struggle to reach the Quarter-Finals of the Junior Championship. The game will be played in Knockmore at 6.30pm on Saturday 22nd August 2009 Aug 7, 2009, 12:16 pm Kiltimagh, who have already qualified for the knockout stages of the championship, play their final group game against Claremorris at Gilmartin Park, Kiltimagh on Saturday 8th August 2009 at 7pm. Aug 6, 2009, 10:27 pm Kiltimagh 3-15 Ballyhaunis 1-5: Kiltimagh minors powered their way to a comprehensive victory over Ballyhaunis in the East Mayo Semi-Final played in Kiltimagh on the 6th August 2009. The final will be against either Aghamore or Swinford on the 13th August 2009. That semi-final was not played on the 6th August last but will be played on Monday 10th August 2009 at Swinford. Aug 2, 2009, 5:34 pm Kiltimagh 1-14 Mayo Gardai 2-8: Kiltimagh had a narrow win in this very entertaining game played at Gilamrtin Park on Friday 31st July 2009. Despite the bad weather earlier in the day, the pitch held up well and the game was played in reasonable conditions, although there was a stiff wind. Kiltimagh laid the foundations for the win when benefitting from the wind in the first half and they led 1-8 to 0-4 at ther break. The Gardai also used the wind to good effect and goaled twice in the second half to leave Kiltimagh having to defend stoutly in the closing stages and hold out for deserved win.
