Kiltimagh played well within themselves and were second best in most areas of the field. The defeat was diasappointing as this minor team are capable of much better performances but it just wasn't in them on the day. Oct 20, 2009, 9:28 pm Kiltimagh 0-11 Ardnaree 1-6: In a close and compelling contest at McHale Park on Sunday 18th October last, Kiltimagh regained their Intermediate status at the first attempt with victory over Ardnaree. They now move on to the Connacht Junior Championship and take on Ballinameen at Hyde Park Roscommon on Sunday 1st November 2009 at 2pm. Oct 19, 2009, 5:44 pm This year the winners of Section 1 and Section 2 of the U13 County League, Moy Davitts and Kiltimagh, play-off for the right to represent Mayo in Feile na nOg 2010. They face each other at Charlestown on Saturday 24th October at 12 noon. Oct 17, 2009, 9:03 pm Castlebar came through against St Gerards in their semi-final and so Kiltimagh take on Castlebar in the Minor County Final in McHale Park on Sunday 25th October 2009. Oct 14, 2009, 10:04 pm Due to the build up of fixtures Sunday 18th October next is again a busy day for Kiltimagh. The U15 League semi-final is fixed for Sunday morning at 11.15am with opponents, Westport, having home advantage. Oct 14, 2009, 10:00 pm McHale Park is the venue on Sunday 18th October 2009 for the County Junior Final. A very tough test is expected for Kiltimagh against favorites Ardnaree. Kiltimagh have been strugglng in their recent games and Ardnaree reached the final by virtue of an excellent performance against Parke. As usual the club hope the Kiltimagh support will travel in large numbers and make themselves heard in the new stand. Oct 11, 2009, 10:53 pm What a game this was. The game had everything, thrills, spills, wonderful scores and crunching tackles. That Kiltimagh won they game by the narrowest of margins was testament to the tremendous spirit in this side. Kiltimagh last won this minor title in1990 and hopes are now high for a repeat. The final will be played in McHale Park on Sunday 25th October 2009 at 1.30pm against either Castlebar or St. Gerards. Kiltimagh qualified for a Feile play-off following a narrow victory over Burrishoole in Ballyheane on Sunday 11th October last. This was a game where Kiltimagh were far off their best and struggled to put passages of play together but they just about deserved to hold out for their 2 point win.
