May 22, 2010, 9:55 pm The annual Joseph Mulhern Memorial Cup has reached the finals stage. After 3 excellent rounds of football, Craggagh (John McDonnell's team) and Lisduff (Sinead Roache's team) have reached the final with Treenagleragh (Emma Dunne's team) against Canbrack (Kieran McHugh's team) in the B final. May 22, 2010, 9:52 pm Kiltimagh 0-6 Burrishoole 0-11: Kiltimagh were missing a number of regulars for this encounter and, despite this, they competed until the very end. Burrishoole who lost one of their midfielders to a straight red before half-time deserved their win although Kiltimagh did have enough chances over the hour to pull it out of the fire. Tommy Elliott made his league debut at midfield in the absence of Tomas Morley and he had a torrid baptism of fire. However, he held his own at midfield and put himself about admirably. May 17, 2010, 10:56 pm Joseph Mulhern Memorial Cup 2010. The 2010 Joseph Mulhern Memorial Cup commenced on the 12th May 2010. In the first round of games Lisduff NS had a one point win over Canbrack and Craggagh defeated Treenagleragh. In round 2 Canbrack beat Treenagleragh and Craggagh continued on their winning ways against Lisduff. The final round of games in the round robin are due to take place in Gilmartin Park on Wednesday 19th May 2010 at 6pm. The date for the final is not fixed yet due to other fixtures.
