Facing a very strong breeze, Kiltimagh were in bother in the first half and found themselves 1-3 to 0-3 at half time. However, they rallied in the second half and made good use of the breeze, kicking over 9 points to Davitts 4. They remain joint top of the section with their final game, a difficult trip to Tourmakeady, on the 11th July 2010. Jun 16, 2010, 10:35 pm The format for the U12 ladies County League knock out stage is that both the semi-finals and the final will take place in Foxford on Monday evening the 21st June 2010. Kiltimagh play Crossmolina in their semi final and both semi-finals will be played simultaneously at 6.30pm Jun 16, 2010, 10:29 pm Kiltimagh resume their defence of the East Mayo Championship on Friday the 18th June 2010 when they play Moy Davitts down in Foxford. Their final group game is against Eastern Gaels the following Friday at Gilmartin Park. The County Final will be played on Sunday the 27th June 2010 against Ballina. The time and venue have yet to be decided. Jun 16, 2010, 10:01 pm Kiltimagh U14 ladies reached the final when they overcame Kilcommon in the semi-final on the 16th June 2010. The final will be played on Monday 5th July 2010 with the venue and opposition to be decided. Melissa, while not starting, came on to play very well and have a vital role in this great win. Jun 14, 2010, 1:12 pm Kiltimagh 2-8 Belmullet 1-11: Kiltimagh were losing 1-9 to 0-3 and a man down when they turned to play with the strong breeze in this opening championship encounter in Belmullet on Sunday 13th June 2010. However, in a wonderfully resillient second half display, Kiltimagh recovered to go a point ahead with 4 minutes remaining. However, Belmullet had time to score an equalising point and both teams would have been happy to share the spoils. |
