Due to a quirk in the fixture list, Kiltimagh now play the second of their 3 possible championship semi-final opponents in 8 days. They did not fare well against the first so this game is vital for Kiltimagh, 2 points being absolutely necessary in their quest for survival in Division 1B. The game throws in at Gilmartin Park at 2.30pm on Sunday 12th September 2010. Sep 4, 2010, 9:30 am Kiltimagh 0-6 Tourmakeady 0-9: Despite having 80% of the possession in this game, played in perfect conditions, Kiltimagh simply didn't have the fire power up front to get the scores to win this game. Kiiltimagh gifted Tourmakeady some easy points in the closing stages of the first half and then turned 0-8 points to 0-2 down at the break. They held Tourmakeady to a single point in a tightly fought second half but wayward kicking led to their demise. This could be a loss that the team will rue on the conclusion of the league. Aug 25, 2010, 10:15 pm Kiltimagh 0-7 Moy Davitts 1-13: Despite the scoreline Kiltimagh were in the hunt for this game right up until the final quarter. Moy Davitts were clearly the stronger all round team but the Kiltimagh lads kept plugging away throughout the game and you always got the impressions that if a goal went in for the Blues, the game would open up. However, Kiltimagh couldn't quite get the elusive goal and Moy Davitts controlled the game in the final stages to run out comfortable winners.
