This was a head to head for promotion and Davitts took the promotion spot with this deserved win. Oct 20, 2011, 7:16 pm Changes to the fixtures next weekend. The Division 1B and 1E games are reversed. Kiltimagh now play County Intermediate Champions, Davitts, in Ballindine on Saturday next at 5pm in their final game in Division 1B. The junior team then play Kilmovee at Gilmartin Park the following day at 12 noon in Division 1E.Oct 16, 2011, 9:02 pm County Minor Final: Kiltimagh 0-7 Davitts 2-3 - Davitts began the first of a great double with a win over our minors. This was a game Kiltimagh could and should have won but too many mistakes on the day allowed Davitts to sneak the win. A win for Davitts will send them up to Division 1A but a win for Kiltimagh might do the same for us but that will depend on results elsewhere. The senior team play Davitts in a promotion decider in the last game of Division 1B and the minor teams vie for the County title in this decider which will be played before the Intermediate Final on Sunday the 16th October next. Kiltimagh had a great win over Ballyhaunis in the East Mayo final before seeing off Louisburgh in the County semi-final. Mick Regan is sure to have the lads ready for this, the second of the three county finals that they have reached this year. Oct 5, 2011, 11:16 pm Halloween Ball: Kiltimagh GAA Club will be holding a "Red or Black" Halloween Ball in the Park Hotel, Kiltimagh on Sunday the 30th October 2011. This will be a novel occasion full of prizes, games, fun and craic. Loosely modelled on the TV game show, Kiltimagh GAA club will be giving their unique take on the format. While fancy dress is positively encouraged (and hopefully some will still be wearing theirs from Langans and Ryans early in the weekend) those attending are only asked to wear either something black or red. Entry is €10.00 (or €15.00 for those not wearing fancy dress or an item of black or red). There will be prizes for the best costumes as well as other random prizes. Entrance fee includes entry to 3 games and the Jackpot prize for the main black or red event will be €250.00. Doors open at 9.30pm with first game at 10pm. |
